Odoo to EMCS Integration Terms & Conditions

“The Client” – The party agreeing to the terms and conditions.

“Festival 2001 Ltd” – A company registered in Scotland with the following company number: SC766470

“Odoo” – A company registered in Belgium that provides ERP software and hosting services.

“The Odoo.sh Platform” – The hosting platform from which Odoo & MasterDistiller is hosted and deployed.

“The 3rd Party” – For the purpose of this agreement is “His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs”. With all API integrations the 3rd Party support, manage and maintain the “other side” of the integration, to which Festival 2001 Ltd. cannot reasonably assert any control.

“The Integration” or “Integration” – The Festival 2001 Ltd developed integration between Odoo and The 3rd Party’s EMCS service.

  • The Integration can only be used to complete accurate submissions to HMRC for the movement of Excise Goods and retrieve messages associated with the movement submitted. It must not be used for any other purpose.
  • The Integration may only be used where a fully paid and valid license and SLA in place between The Client and Festival 2001 Ltd. for the MasterDistiller Software including the appropriate licensing of the Integration.
  • The Client is responsible for all aspects of the movement and making sure all data that relevant and accurate.
  • Festival 2001 Ltd. takes no responsibility or liability for any submissions made.
  • Festival 2001 Ltd. will agree to maintain the Integration insofar as its current major release. Any major releases from the 3rd Party that substantially alter the nature of the integration for the following list, although not exhaustive: change of authentication method, change of transport mechanism, alteration of endpoints, re-platforming, will be considered to be a new API from the 3rd Party and therefore a major release will be considered, should it be a product Festival 2001 Ltd. wish to release. The current release of Integration will be discontinued.
  • Issues with the Integration may be reported to Festival 2001 Ltd using the following link: https://support.master-distiller.com/contactus
    • Reported Bugs will be assessed by one of our support specialists who will determine if the bug is:
      • A genuine bug, which is the responsibility of Festival 2001 Ltd.
      • Intended behavior or non-critical deficiencies (at the discretion of Festival 2001 Ltd.).
      • An issues with the 3rd Party’s technology with respect to the integration.
    • For all bugs that are the responsibility of Festival 2001 Ltd. a resolution will be suggested, completed, tested, and deployed as quickly as possible to avoid disruption in line with our SLA.
    • For all bugs determined to be that of the 3rd Party’s technology, Festival 2001 Ltd. will make efforts to liaise with and advise the 3rd Party where possible, but bear no responsibility or liability for this.
    • No action will be taken for Intended Behaviour or non-critical deficiencies, though deficiencies may be addressed at the discretion of Festival 2001 Ltd. in future minor releases.
  • Any hosting related issues, downtime, bugs, or shortcomings associated with Odoo or The Odoo.sh Platform are not the responsibility of Festival 2001 Ltd. are covering by Odoo’s Terms of Service and SLA. Festival 2001 Ltd. will take queries and provide answers where possible.
